Welcome to the Maryland Black Caucus Foundation website.  It is an honor and privilege to serve as the President of this great board.  As some of you know our former president, Obie Patterson was elected to serve the citizens of the 8th Distict of Prince George's County.  We wish him all the best as he takes his long and illustrious resume of service to present gorgeous Prince George's County.

This past year's annual gala, which was held at the Baltimore Hilton, was the most successful fundraising event in the Foundation's history.  The Foundation along with the tireless support of MD Legislative Black Caucus Chairwoman Senator Catherine Pugh set Historic benchmarks.  These funds are now assisting students to attend colleges throughout the state of Maryland.

The Foundation's mission is to strive to empower our communities by way of community awareness, workshops, forums and scholarship distribution.  The annual Legislative Gala has been and will continue to remain the Foundation's primary fundraising event.  Please visit our website often in order to get updated information on exciting fundraising activities.
